You need flowers that show up on time and look like what you ordered. Not “similar” flowers. Not a smaller arrangement because they ran out. The actual flowers you chose.
That’s harder to guarantee than it sounds, especially in Manhattan. Buildings with strict delivery windows. Recipients who aren’t answering their phones. Valentine’s Day when half the city is ordering roses.
We’ve been doing this in Midtown for years, so we know how to navigate the chaos. Your order gets confirmed. You get photo proof before delivery if you want it. And if something goes wrong—traffic, building access, whatever—you hear about it immediately, not three hours later when it’s too late to fix.
Most people come to us after a bad experience somewhere else. They needed flowers for a proposal, a hospital visit, an apology that couldn’t wait. They ordered online, paid extra for same-day, and got a text at 9 PM saying “delivery attempted.” That doesn’t happen here.
We’re at 3 West 51st Street, right in Midtown. Family-owned. We’ve supplied flowers for film productions, corporate lobbies, weddings at venues across the city, and plenty of last-minute “I forgot our anniversary” orders.
NoMad clients tend to have high standards and tight schedules. You’re not impressed by generic “luxury” language—you want to know if we can deliver to your building by 2 PM without calling you six times to find the service entrance.
We can. We know the neighborhood. We know which buildings require scheduled deliveries and which concierges will accept packages. And if you’re sending flowers to someone in Brooklyn or the Upper East Side, we know those routes too.
You place an order online or call us directly. If you’re ordering for same-day delivery, we’ll tell you immediately if we can hit your timeframe. No “we’ll try our best” nonsense—either we can do it or we can’t.
Once you confirm, we build your arrangement. If you ordered roses and we’re low on the specific color, we call you before substituting. If you need it delivered by a certain time, we route it accordingly.
For delivery, we need complete details: floor number, suite, recipient’s phone number, any building access notes. The more specific you are, the smoother it goes. Manhattan buildings are complicated—some require appointments, some only accept deliveries at loading docks, some have concierges who’ll take anything.
After delivery, you get confirmation. If there’s an issue—recipient wasn’t there, building refused entry, address was incomplete—we contact you right away so you can decide what to do next. You’re not left wondering if your flowers are sitting in a lobby somewhere.
Ready to get started?
Every arrangement gets hand-selected flowers, not whatever’s left over from yesterday. We source from trusted growers and our Midtown location means we’re not trucking arrangements in from New Jersey the morning of your delivery.
For weddings, you get a consultation where we actually listen instead of pushing our “signature style.” We work with venues throughout the city and understand what holds up under different conditions—outdoor ceremonies in May, indoor receptions with dramatic lighting, ceremonies that photograph heavily.
Corporate clients get weekly delivery service if that’s what you need. Fresh flowers for your lobby or reception area, delivered on schedule, swapped out before they start looking tired. We bill monthly and adjust arrangements based on what’s actually in season, which keeps costs predictable.
Same-day delivery covers Manhattan, Brooklyn, and surrounding areas. If you’re sending flowers to a hospital, we know which ones have restrictions. If it’s going to an office building, we factor in security and reception desk protocols.
For occasions like Valentine’s Day or Mother’s Day, we’re transparent about limitations. February 11-15 this year has restricted availability due to supply shortages, so you’ll choose from a specific collection. We’d rather tell you that upfront than promise something we can’t deliver.
Yes, but there’s a cutoff time and it depends on the delivery address. If you order before noon, same-day delivery is usually possible for most Manhattan locations. After that, it gets tighter.
The real issue isn’t the flowers—it’s the logistics. Manhattan buildings have delivery windows. Recipients aren’t always available. Traffic exists. If you’re ordering at 4 PM for a 5 PM delivery to a building that requires scheduled access, that’s probably not happening.
When you call or order online, we’ll tell you immediately if your timeframe works. If it doesn’t, we’ll tell you the earliest we can realistically get it there. Most florists will take your money and “try”—we’d rather be honest and keep your business long-term.
We contact you before substituting anything. If you ordered white roses and we only have cream, you get a call. If you wanted peonies and they’re out of season, we tell you before building something you didn’t ask for.
This happens more often during peak times—Valentine’s week, Mother’s Day, holidays when everyone’s ordering the same flowers. During those periods, we’re upfront about limited availability. You’ll see which collections are available for those dates, and we won’t promise flowers we can’t source.
Some florists substitute freely and hope you don’t notice. We don’t operate that way. You approved a specific arrangement for a reason—maybe it matches an event color scheme, maybe your recipient has a favorite flower. We’re not going to swap it out and act like it’s close enough.
It varies based on what you’re ordering and when you need it. Standard delivery within Manhattan typically runs $15-25. Same-day delivery costs more. Timed delivery windows cost more. Custom arrangements cost more than pre-designed options.
If you’re ordering during peak periods like Valentine’s Day, expect higher prices across the board. That’s not price gouging—it’s supply and demand. Flower costs spike, delivery routes are packed, and labor costs increase when we’re running 12-hour days.
For corporate or recurring orders, we can usually work out better rates since we’re delivering to the same location regularly. Wedding pricing depends entirely on your scope—a simple bridal bouquet and boutonnieres costs less than full ceremony and reception florals for 200 guests.
If budget is a concern, tell us upfront. We can work within constraints, but we need to know what they are. Saying “something nice” doesn’t help—saying “I have $75 and need it delivered by 3 PM” gives us something to work with.
Yes, but we need complete information from you at checkout. That means floor number, suite number, recipient’s phone number, and any special instructions about building access—loading dock requirements, concierge procedures, security desk protocols.
NoMad and Midtown buildings often have complicated delivery rules. Some require scheduled appointments. Some only accept deliveries at specific entrances during specific hours. Some have concierges who’ll take packages; others require direct recipient contact.
If you don’t provide complete details and we can’t access the building, delivery gets delayed while we contact you for more information. That’s frustrating for everyone. The more specific you are upfront, the smoother the delivery goes.
We’ve been delivering in this area long enough to know most building quirks, but new construction and updated security policies mean things change. When in doubt, overcommunicate. It’s easier to have too much information than not enough.
We’re local, which means your order doesn’t get routed through a national service that farms it out to whoever’s available. You’re ordering directly from the shop that’s actually making and delivering your arrangement.
When you call, you talk to someone who works here. When there’s a problem, we handle it directly instead of playing telephone with a call center. When you need something custom, we can actually do it instead of forcing you into preset templates.
National services are fine if you’re sending generic flowers to a suburb with easy access. They fall apart in Manhattan where building access is complicated, timing is tight, and recipients expect quality. We know the neighborhoods, the buildings, the routes. We’ve been doing this here for years.
That doesn’t mean we’re perfect—deliveries get complicated and sometimes things go wrong. But when they do, you’re dealing with us directly. We fix it or we refund you. No waiting on hold with customer service in another state.
