Hear from Our Customers
You need flowers that arrive when promised and look like what you ordered. Not wilted. Not smaller than the photo. Not “close enough.”
Our arrangements are designed the same day you order them, using flowers we picked up that morning from the NYC Flower District. We’re in Midtown, which means we can get to Nolita fast—same-day delivery for orders placed before 2 PM on weekdays.
Your flowers travel in climate-controlled vehicles. Our drivers know Nolita’s walk-ups, the buildings with strict doorman protocols, the loading dock schedules. We confirm delivery with the recipient, not just the front desk.
When you send flowers, you’re making an impression. We make sure it’s the right one.
Columbia Midtown Florist is family-owned. We’ve served Manhattan for decades, which means we understand how this city works—the timing, the buildings, the expectations.
Nolita isn’t like Midtown or the Upper East Side. Your neighborhood moves slower, values authenticity, and expects quality without the show. We get that. Our arrangements reflect it—thoughtful, well-crafted, not overdone.
We’re at 3 West 51st Street, near Rockefeller Center. That location gives us access to the best flowers in the city every morning and puts us close enough to deliver to Nolita within hours.
You place an order online or by phone. If it’s before our cutoff time, we deliver same-day. If not, we deliver next day.
That morning, our florists head to the NYC Flower District. They select fresh stems based on what’s in season and what looks best that day. Back at the shop, they design your arrangement by hand—no pre-made boxes, no assembly line.
Your flowers go into a climate-controlled vehicle. The driver heads to Nolita with your delivery details and any special instructions you provided. If it’s a walk-up, they climb the stairs. If it’s a building with a doorman, they coordinate the handoff.
Once delivered, we confirm it reached the right person. You get notified. Done.
If you need something custom—specific colors, certain flowers, a particular size—we can do that too. Just call us or add notes to your order.
Ready to get started?
Every arrangement is made fresh the day it’s delivered. We source from the NYC Flower District each morning, so your flowers haven’t been sitting in a cooler for three days.
You can order pre-designed arrangements from our site, or you can request something custom. Custom orders work best when you give us a budget, a color palette, and any flowers you definitely want or definitely don’t want. Our designers will build something that fits.
For Nolita deliveries, we account for the neighborhood. Smaller buildings, walk-ups, boutique shops, residential lofts. Our drivers know the area and plan routes accordingly.
Same-day delivery is available for orders placed before 2 PM on weekdays and before noon on weekends. We deliver seven days a week. If you’re sending flowers for a birthday, anniversary, or apology, we’ll make sure they arrive on time.
Corporate clients and event planners use us for weekly office deliveries, restaurant arrangements, and private events throughout Nolita and downtown Manhattan. We handle volume orders and can work within specific brand guidelines or aesthetic requirements.
Yes, if you order before 2 PM on weekdays or before noon on weekends. We design your arrangement that morning or early afternoon using fresh flowers from the NYC Flower District, then deliver within a few hours.
Our Midtown location puts us close to Nolita—usually a 15-20 minute drive depending on traffic. We account for delivery windows and building access when we confirm your order.
If you’re ordering after the cutoff, we’ll deliver next day. You’ll see the delivery date confirmed at checkout, and we’ll send you tracking info once the arrangement is out for delivery.
Our designers follow the style, color palette, and flower types shown in the photo. Exact replication isn’t always possible because we source fresh flowers daily and availability changes, but we match the overall look and size.
If a specific flower isn’t available, we substitute with something comparable in color, shape, and value. We don’t downgrade. If you ordered roses and we’re out of that specific variety, you’re getting a different rose or a premium alternative—not carnations.
For custom orders, we can guarantee specific flowers if you call ahead and confirm availability. That way, there’s no guessing. You tell us what you want, we confirm we can get it, and we build exactly that.
Our driver will try to reach the recipient by phone or buzzer. If there’s no answer, we’ll contact you to figure out next steps—leave with a neighbor, come back later, or deliver to an alternate address.
For walk-ups and smaller buildings without doormen, we coordinate directly with the recipient when possible. If you know the delivery might be tricky, include a phone number and any access instructions in your order notes.
We don’t just leave flowers outside in Nolita. Weather, foot traffic, and building security make that a bad idea. We make sure someone receives them, or we work with you to reschedule.
Yes. We deliver to boutiques, offices, restaurants, salons, and galleries throughout Nolita. Many of our corporate clients use us for weekly or bi-weekly arrangements to keep their spaces looking fresh.
For business deliveries, we work around your hours. If you need flowers delivered before you open or during a specific window, let us know. Our drivers are familiar with loading docks, service entrances, and building management requirements in the area.
We also handle event florals for private dinners, pop-ups, and small gatherings. If you’re planning something at a Nolita venue, we can consult on arrangements, centerpieces, and installations based on your space and aesthetic.
Absolutely. Custom arrangements work best when you give us a budget, a color scheme, and any specific flowers you want included. You can also tell us what you don’t want—no lilies, no daisies, whatever.
Call us directly or add detailed notes to your online order. If it’s a same-day request, availability depends on what we sourced that morning from the Flower District. If you’re ordering a few days ahead, we can request specific stems and guarantee they’ll be in your arrangement.
Custom orders are popular for weddings, corporate events, and milestone celebrations where the flowers need to match a specific theme or brand. We’ve worked with interior designers, event planners, and individuals who just know exactly what they want.
