Once you place the order, we pull fresh flowers from our daily inventory. Everything’s sourced from NYC’s wholesale flower district that morning, so you’re getting stems that haven’t been sitting in a cooler for a week. Our florists design the arrangement by hand. Not a pre-packed box. Not a “designer’s choice” cop-out. An actual arrangement based on what you ordered.
For delivery, you pick the window. We coordinate with our drivers to hit that timeframe across Washington Heights, Midtown, or wherever in NYC you need it sent. The $25 delivery fee covers the driver’s time and gas across NYC. It’s not cheap, but it’s also not inflated. Manhattan delivery is expensive because of traffic, parking, and the time it takes to get into buildings. If you’re sending flowers locally within a few blocks, the fee stays the same. If you’re sending to the Bronx or Brooklyn, same thing. Flat rate across our delivery area.
Most arrangements last 5-7 days if you follow basic care. Roses can go a bit longer. Lilies and tulips are usually on the shorter end. It depends on the flower type and how fresh they were when we got them.
We source from the NYC wholesale flower district every morning. That means the roses delivered to Washington Heights today were cut within the last 48 hours, not last week. Fresher flowers last longer. It’s not complicated.
Here’s what kills flowers fast: warm rooms, direct sunlight, and forgetting to change the water. Keep them in a cool spot, trim the stems every couple days, and refresh the water. If they came with flower food, use it. If you don’t want to deal with all that, just change the water every other day and they’ll still last nearly a week. If something wilts within 24 hours, call us. That’s not normal and we’ll replace it.
You can request custom arrangements. Call the shop and describe what you want—color palette, flower types, size, occasion. We’ll tell you what’s available that day and what it’ll cost. If we don’t have something in stock, we’ll suggest alternatives that match the vibe you’re going for.

Pricing for custom work depends on the flowers and size. A small custom bouquet might run $60-80. A large statement arrangement for a corporate lobby or event could be $200+. We’ll quote it before you commit. No surprise charges. If you want something elaborate—specific imported flowers, intricate design work, unusual containers—expect to pay more. You’re getting a one-off design, not a pre-made arrangement we crank out 50 times a day.
We call you. If the recipient isn’t home and the building won’t accept the delivery, our driver contacts the shop and we reach out to you immediately. You can provide an alternate address, reschedule for later that day, or have us leave them with a neighbor or doorman if that’s an option.
For Washington Heights deliveries, a lot of buildings have supers or front desk staff who’ll take packages. We’ll leave flowers with them if it’s a secure handoff. If it’s a walk-up with no one around, we’re not leaving $75 worth of flowers on a doorstep. We’ll try calling the recipient directly if you provided their number. If we can’t reach anyone, the flowers come back to the shop and we coordinate redelivery.

Funeral homes receive dozens of arrangements for each service, so we include a clear card with your name and message. If you’re sending flowers to the family’s home instead, we deliver during reasonable hours and handle it with appropriate sensitivity. This isn’t the time for bright, cheerful birthday arrangements. We get that.
