We operate from 3 West 51st Street, which means we’re close enough to Morningside Heights to understand the neighborhood but centrally located enough to source the best flowers in the city every morning. We’ve been delivering to Columbia University buildings, Morningside apartments, and offices throughout the area long enough to know which buildings require appointments and which accept deliveries at the front desk.

Our delivery driver loads it into a climate-controlled vehicle, checks the address and any special instructions you’ve included, and heads to Morningside Heights. If it’s going to a Columbia building, they know the process. If it’s a residential building with a doorman, they know to call up or leave it with the desk based on your delivery notes.
You get a confirmation when it’s delivered. If there’s an issue—wrong address, recipient not available, building access problem—we call you directly instead of leaving you wondering what happened.

But depending on the season, you’ll also find lilies, tulips, peonies, hydrangeas, and specialty blooms that aren’t available at every corner deli. If you want something specific, call us. We can talk through color palettes, size, and style before you commit.
Delivery covers all of Morningside Heights, from Columbia’s campus buildings to residential high-rises along Riverside Drive and Broadway. The area has a mix of university offices, apartment buildings with strict delivery protocols, and walk-ups where timing matters. Our drivers have delivered here enough times to know what to expect.

Orders placed before 2 PM Monday through Friday qualify for same-day delivery to Morningside Heights and the rest of Manhattan below 100th Street. After 2 PM, your order moves to next-day delivery.
Weekends have different cutoffs depending on demand and driver availability, so if you need Saturday or Sunday delivery, call us directly at the number listed on the site. We can tell you immediately whether same-day is possible or if you’re looking at next-day.
The 2 PM cutoff exists because arrangements are made fresh after you order, not pulled from pre-made stock. The florist needs time to build your bouquet, the driver needs time to navigate Midtown traffic and make it to Morningside Heights, and buildings have their own delivery windows. Ordering earlier in the day gives everyone breathing room.
Yes. We’ve delivered to Columbia offices, residence halls, and academic buildings many times. Some buildings require the recipient’s phone number so security can confirm delivery. Others accept packages at a central mail room. A few require appointments.
When you place the order, include as much detail as possible: building name, office or room number, department if it’s going to faculty or staff, and the recipient’s phone number. If the delivery requires building access we don’t have, our driver will call the recipient directly to coordinate.
University deliveries during business hours are the most straightforward. After-hours or weekend deliveries to residence halls can be trickier depending on building policies, so if timing is tight, call us before you order. We’ll confirm whether your delivery window works with the building’s access rules.
Every arrangement is made by hand in our Midtown shop using flowers sourced fresh that morning from New York’s wholesale flower district. You’re not getting a pre-packed box shipped from a warehouse or a generic bouquet pulled from a walk-in cooler.
If you order a dozen roses, you’re getting a dozen roses—stems that were cut recently, arranged with filler and greens, delivered in water or a vase depending on what you’ve selected. If you order a mixed bouquet, the florist chooses blooms based on what’s freshest that day within your color and style preferences.
Photos on the site show the general style and size of each arrangement, but because we’re working with fresh, seasonal product, exact flowers and colors can vary slightly. If you have specific requests—no lilies because of allergies, only pink and white, extra greenery—add a note during checkout or call us. We’ll adjust the arrangement to match what you’re asking for as closely as possible.
Yes. Most high-rise buildings in Morningside Heights have doormen or front desk staff who accept deliveries on behalf of residents. Our drivers leave the arrangement with the desk, confirm the recipient’s name and apartment number, and you receive a delivery confirmation.
If you want the flowers brought directly to the apartment door instead of left at the desk, include that in the delivery instructions and provide the recipient’s phone number. The driver will call up to arrange access, but this adds time and isn’t always possible depending on building policies and the recipient’s availability.
Buildings without doormen—walk-ups and smaller residential buildings—require the recipient to be home or available to buzz the driver in. If no one answers, the driver will try calling the phone number on the order. If they still can’t reach anyone, the flowers go back to the shop and we contact you to reschedule delivery.
If the delivery is going to an office or a building with a doorman, this usually isn’t an issue. The flowers get left with reception or the front desk, and the recipient picks them up when they’re available.
For residential buildings without a doorman, the driver needs someone to answer the buzzer or door. If no one’s home, the driver will call the recipient using the phone number you provided during checkout. If they can’t reach anyone after a few attempts, the flowers come back to the shop.
We’ll contact you to figure out next steps—either rescheduling delivery for a time when the recipient will definitely be home, or arranging for pickup at our Midtown location if that’s easier. We don’t leave fresh flowers sitting outside apartment doors in New York weather, and we don’t just mark it “delivered” when it wasn’t.
