You forgot. Or you remembered last minute. Either way, you need birthday flowers delivered today in East Harlem, and they need to look good when they arrive.
That’s what we do. Orders placed before 2 PM Monday through Friday get delivered the same day. We’re not outsourcing to a third party or drop-shipping from New Jersey. Our shop is in Midtown Manhattan at 3 West 51st Street. We make the arrangement. Our driver delivers it. You get confirmation when it’s done.
The flowers are sourced fresh each morning from the wholesale district. They’re arranged by hand in our shop. They’re delivered in climate-controlled vehicles so they don’t wilt in the heat or freeze in the cold. What you see in the photo is what gets delivered. No substitutions unless we call you first.
Columbia Midtown Florist has been delivering flowers across Manhattan for years. We know which buildings need appointments, which doormen prefer a heads-up call, and which lobbies won’t accept deliveries after 5 PM.
East Harlem has changed a lot. More residential high-rises. Stricter building protocols. Busier streets. We’ve kept up. Our drivers know the area. They know how to get flowers to the right person without the runaround.
We’ve done flowers for movie sets, corporate offices, weddings, and apologies that couldn’t wait. Birthday flowers are straightforward by comparison, but they still matter. You’re trying to make someone’s day better. We make sure the flowers show up looking right.
You place an order online or by phone. Tell us the recipient’s name, address, floor, suite number, and phone number. If it’s a building with a doorman or security desk, let us know. The more detail you give us, the smoother the delivery goes.
We make the arrangement fresh that day. No pre-made bouquets sitting in a cooler. If you ordered roses, we’re trimming and arranging roses. If you want lilies or sunflowers, same thing. Everything is built to order.
Our driver leaves Midtown and heads to East Harlem with your arrangement in a temperature-controlled vehicle. If there’s an issue at the building—recipient isn’t home, doorman won’t accept it, wrong address—we call you immediately. No surprises. Once it’s delivered, you get a confirmation. That’s it.
Ready to get started?
Every birthday bouquet includes fresh-cut flowers arranged by hand in our Midtown shop. You’re not getting a box of stems shipped from a warehouse. You’re getting a finished arrangement that’s ready to display when it arrives.
Delivery to East Harlem is included in the price. No surprise fees at checkout. No “service charges” that double the cost. The price you see is what you pay. If you need a card with a message, we include that too. Just tell us what you want it to say.
We deliver to apartments, offices, lobbies, and doorman buildings throughout East Harlem and the rest of Manhattan. Our drivers are used to navigating the neighborhood—whether it’s a walk-up on 116th Street or a high-rise near the East River. If the building requires an appointment or has specific delivery hours, let us know when you order. We’ll handle it.
Popular choices for birthday flowers include roses for milestone birthdays, sunflowers for bright and cheerful celebrations, lilies for something more elegant, and mixed bouquets that combine colors and textures. If you’re not sure what to pick, call us. We’ll ask a few questions and point you toward something that makes sense.
Yes. If you order before 2 PM Monday through Friday, we’ll deliver same day to East Harlem. Weekend orders have slightly earlier cutoffs—call us to confirm timing if you’re ordering Saturday or Sunday.
Same-day delivery isn’t a marketing gimmick. It’s how we operate. Our shop is in Midtown, which gives us a head start compared to florists outside Manhattan. We’re not coordinating with a third-party service or waiting on a courier. Our team handles it start to finish.
That said, same-day delivery depends on a few things. We need accurate recipient information—name, address, floor, suite number, and phone number. If the building has strict delivery protocols or the recipient isn’t home, that can delay things. Give us as much detail as possible when you order, and we’ll take care of the rest.
We deliver roses, lilies, sunflowers, tulips, peonies, orchids, and mixed arrangements. If you want something specific, call us. We source flowers fresh every morning from the wholesale district, so availability changes, but we can usually accommodate requests.
Roses are popular for romantic birthdays or milestone celebrations. Sunflowers work well for bright, cheerful occasions. Lilies are a good choice if you want something elegant without being too formal. Mixed bouquets give you variety—different colors, textures, and blooms in one arrangement.
If you’re not sure what to pick, think about the recipient’s style. Do they like bold and colorful, or understated and classic? Are they celebrating a big milestone, or is this just a thoughtful gesture? We can walk you through options based on what you’re trying to accomplish.
Prices typically range from $40 to $150 depending on the size and type of arrangement. Smaller bouquets with seasonal flowers start around $40. Larger arrangements with premium flowers like roses or peonies can run $75 to $150 or more.
The price you see online includes delivery to East Harlem. We don’t add hidden fees at checkout. If you’re ordering for a close family member or romantic partner, most people spend between $75 and $150. For friends or coworkers, $40 to $60 is common.
If you have a budget in mind, tell us. We’ll show you what’s available in that range. You’re not locked into a specific arrangement just because it’s listed online. We can adjust size, flowers, or style to fit what you’re willing to spend.
Yes. What you see in the photo is what we make. We don’t substitute flowers or downgrade the arrangement unless we absolutely have to—and if we do, we call you first to confirm.
Every arrangement is made fresh in our Midtown shop the day it’s delivered. We’re not pulling pre-made bouquets out of a cooler or assembling something in the back of a van. Our florists build each order by hand using the flowers we sourced that morning.
If a specific flower isn’t available—say, a certain color of rose or a seasonal bloom—we’ll contact you before making a substitution. We’re not going to swap out premium flowers for cheaper ones and hope you don’t notice. That’s not how we operate. You’ll know what’s being delivered before it leaves our shop.
Yes. We deliver to apartments, offices, residential high-rises, walk-ups, and doorman buildings throughout East Harlem. Our drivers are familiar with the neighborhood and know how to navigate building protocols.
If you’re sending flowers to an apartment, give us the recipient’s floor and apartment number. If there’s a doorman or security desk, let us know. Some buildings require the recipient to come down to the lobby. Others allow deliveries directly to the door. The more information you provide, the smoother the delivery goes.
For office deliveries, include the company name, floor, and suite number. If the building has security or requires a visitor pass, mention that when you order. We’ve delivered to corporate offices, co-working spaces, and residential buildings across Manhattan. We know what to expect and how to handle it.
